One Saturday morning in Tuscany...



Adesso il post di ieri si trasforma in un vero a proprio consiglio personale!!!
Questa mattina sono andata al Mercato della Terra a Montecatini Terme.
Si trova a 20 minuti (in auto) dall'agriturismo Corte in poggio ed è un modo piacevole e rilassante per trascorrere un Sabato mattina qualunque.
Mi piace passare tra le varie bancarelle e assaporare il mix di odori che si perdono nell'aria.
Ci sono verdura e frutta provenienti da aziende agricole locali, deliziosi formaggi di latte di capra e di pecora, pane a lievitazione naturale, miele, cosmetici fatti con prodotti naturali e molto altro ancora.

Si tratta, a mio parere, di un fantastico modo per acquistare prodotti biologici a km zero provenienti dal territorio circostante e si può avere anche l'occasione di scambiare due parole con chi produce tutte queste cose buone.

What I wrote yesterday turns now to a real advice!!
This morning I went to the Earth Market in Montecatini terme.
It is 20 minutes (by car) far from Corte in poggio agriturismo and it is a nice and relaxing way to spend a normal Saturday morning.
I like passing through the different stalls and smelling the mix of odour in the air.
There are vegetable and fruits from local farms, delicious goat and dairy cheese, sourdough bread, honey and cosmetics made by natural products and much more.

It is an amazing way to buy biological products coming from the surrounding area ( in italy we say at km zero) and may be you can have an interesting word with their makers.

Ogni Sabato mattina dalle 8.00 alle 13.00 mercato coperto con prodotti locali:
frutta e verdura appena colta, salumi, vini locali, assaggi e degustazioni.

Every Saturday from 8.00 until 13.00 covered market with local products:
fruits and vegetable just picked, cured meats,  local wine and oil , possibility of food or drink tasting.
